today I am grateful for food for the hungry and our new sweet friend, Abdiel. I love his precious words “Soy un niño muy especial.” “I am a very special boy.” such true, sweet words. I am very excited to get to know him more, and am thankful that I was introduced to this awesome organization by this great blog.

My sweet "hubsand" and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary. It is an absolute blessing to be married to my best friend. We love to snuggle with our pup, who might very well be the most emotional dog on the face of the planet. We love our hammock, hanging with our awesome families, and laughing together. I love to read, write real letters, take pictures, and pretty much everything having to do with the fall (apple picking, pumpkin patches, cool nights, football, apple cider donuts, our anniversary!). I just started learning a little bit about floral design, and I'm sort of addicted. I volunteer with Young Life, which I absolutely love. What a privilege to walk alongside high school friends. I am praying that this gratefulness project will help me focus on the many, many blessings in my life.
