fostering a grateful spirit

tonight I have much to be grateful for. first, for a young life banquet with more guests than expected. a room full of people who got to hear what Jesus is doing in the lives of my high school friends. thankful that I got to share about what it’s like to be a leader. also thankful for a story of a transformed life from a student. brought me to tears (not shocking, I know, but he really did a great job.)

this weekend was crazy busy, but I’m grateful for all the friends we got to celebrate with. Friday night rehearsal dinner for Dave and Tiff, and then a birthday bonfire with friends to celebrate Chad’s 30th birthday (which is today…happy birthday!), then wedding goodness all day yesterday with tears, tons of laughter, and the hubby and I dancing until we were literally falling asleep standing up. breakfast with the wedding party today and the young life banquet with tons of high school and leader friends. tons of joy, and much to be grateful for.
